Looking for body parts for a '65 Ford Fairlane i.e. quarters, deck lid or if anyone can tell me if there are any parts from other cars that might interchange with this car? Parts for this model are very hard to find.
Thanks
Missy

Hi Missy,

Have you Googled for Ford Parts? I don't think Year One carries parts for the larger than Ford Mustangs. I am not sure what to tell you only that I found not one but two places that specailize in Pontiac parts, one of them I found by Googling. Same for my Regal. Where do you live? There is a place here in Wichita that specializes in body panels, and just may have what you are looking for, if you aren't far away, it may be worth your while to check them out, if not, you might try checking out SWAP meets in your area.

If all else fails here is the place here in Wichita.

Hi Carrie,
Unfortunately I live in West Virginia. I have Googled until my eyes were crossed. I appreciate your reply and may check with the Auto Industrial Warehouse anyway, it is worth a shot. I hope to attend as many swap meets as possible this coming spring and summer. That is as many as funding, time, and husbands allow. Thank you again.

EGADS crossed eyes huh? I am an optometric assistant, can I help? LOL Ok, now don't give up on winter swap meets, in fact, that is usually the best time to attend swap meets, usually, at least around here, the spring and summer meets are aimed more at the "whole car" buyers than swappers. Now the fall and winter meets? THAT's where ya find the good stuff.

Have you checked Fairlane clubs in the area? Around here there are all kinds of Ford clubs, T-birds, Mustangs, FMOCO, etc. etc. etc. Since this is the off season around here, we don't run into many Ford guys this time of year, however the antique club does put on a big swap meet here in Feb, let me see if I can come up with any fliers about clubs around here, usually these are the best guys to check with to see if there is anything close to you. Have you Googled Ford clubs? I am going to do some surfing and see what I can come up with. In the meantime, you might check with Amazon. I found a treasure trove of books for Buicks in there, I have a parts finders book I bought there, that thing has been helpfull on more than one occasion.

Let me see what I can come up with, I will get back with ya later.

Hmm. I am looking under Ford Fairlane Car Clubs on google. These may interest you.

www.woodyg.com/fairlane (looks like he has some places to go to for parts)

www.fairlaneclubofamerica.com (yearly dues, but perhaps you can find someone here?)

Then You can always go to your local bookstore and buy the latest Hemming's News. This is a huge catalog with all kinds of car parts, I never had much luck, but there's a big difference between Buick parts and Ford parts too.

Hope this helps. I will let you know if I find more.
